SUPPORTING BRITISH TROOPS
The Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) is situated on a natural prominence above Dartmouth and covers approximately 46 hectares within the South Devon AONB. Verde were appointed by OCS Group UK Ltd for a second time to design and build a new artificial turf pitch that would be compliant with FIFA & World Rugby standards.
The new facility will support the delivery of the Initial Military Fitness regime which is now the benchmark for all military physical development training. BRNC also provides the delivery of Initial Navy Training for the Royal Navy as well as training international officers as part of the International Defence Training. It trains over 400 UK and foreign naval personnel annually and is considered to be “the alma mater” for the service. It has an average working population of 800 Officers and staff.
