An artificial turf pitch installation represents a substantial investment and is often purchased with the view that it will last between ten and fifteen years. Verde is therefore committed to providing a maintenance programme that reflects the value of your asset.

The right maintenance regime is critical in order to preserve the life of the facility and achieve the highest standards of play. Our dedicated maintenance and aftercare team are trained to assist and support facility stakeholders, managers and groundsmen with implementing a range of quality assured maintenance procedures.

Renovation

Our team is committed to your sport through our endeavour to preserve the life of your facility.

There is a perception that artificial sports surfaces are completely maintenance-free. However, in reality, the best pitches retain their excellence and achieve their superior standards of play through a first-class maintenance regime.

Should there be a problem with your facility or sports surface, we offer a full range of renovation services for complete peace of mind. Our renovation services include full synthetic system replacement, deep cleaning, surface decompaction, seam repairs and replenishing infill.

Replacement

We are committed to your sport through a dedicated team of replacement specialists who will guide you through the complete process.

An artificial grass playing surface, if well maintained, should last 10-15 years before replacement is necessary. At this point, replacement typically results in the total removal of the playing surface and the shock-pad below, followed by a new installation. However, in some circumstances, the old shock-pad can be overlaid with new carpet after localised repairs have been undertaken and checked for regularity and porosity.

Verde recommends that an independent test house is employed to carry out a full evaluation of the facility at the start of the project to make a full assessment. This would include checks to the underlying drainage system, base construction and shock-pad to ensure that it is fit for re-use.

During the resurfacing process, the Verde team will carry out the necessary key stage inspections to ensure the new facility complies with the relevant governing body standards upon completion.
